PC and non-special edition for PS1 versions weren't stand alone, you needed to get GTA 1 in order to run it. Only the special edition only available on PS1 was (hence why it was called special edition). (In case you don't have GTA1 (original version), and/or London 1969, but would like to play either of the games mentioned here, send me a PM & I'll tell you where you can find those) 1961 itself was distributed in a small, stand-alone installer and was completely free. As for London 1961, that was a modification of London 1969, therefore you had to own 1969 in order to play the game. which versions of GTA 1 are compatible with both L69 and L61?OK, so I could be wrong, but from what I understood London 1969 was a stand-alone game, you didn't have to own GTA1. Okay, I've heard the physical version of GTA 1 from GTA Classics isn't compatible with London 1961 - and the Digital free download version isn't compatible either.
